The Cultural Centre in Čačak was founded in 1971. The institution is located at the heart of the city’s central zone, in a landmark building designed by the architect L. Šverer in 1970. In its fifth decade of existence and successful operation, the Cultural Centre in Čačak remains the focal point for cultural events and a unique mediator in the broad field of culture, firmly rooted in the overall social and economic pulse of the city, and a major initiator and creator of the cultural customs of the citizens of Čačak.
