Stop-trick animation is enormously interesting because the director can be an actor at the same time! The eye of the camera captures ordinary things that later in the editing process become true miracles! Animanima's pixilation workshop will be a training ground for some such magic that the attendees will enjoy.
The workshop is led by Marija Vulić, artistic director of the European festival of animated films for children and young people Animator Fest in Jagodina. Marija founded and successfully runs an animated film school in the city's Cultural Center, so she will pass on her rich experience in working with young students in the creative process of creating an animated film to the youngest animators in Čačak.
Marija is an animator whose great film Elusiveness we saw within the Animanima 2020 competition program, and we will have the pleasure of welcoming her as part of this year's jury of the competition program of professional films for children.
The workshop will be held on Friday and Saturday, November 8 and 9, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Club of the Cultural Center. Age of participants: 12-15 years old (older elementary school classes).
