The Canadian STASH PERMANENT COLLECTION is a carefully curated video streaming platform for motion design and animation, with which the Animanima festival has been cooperating for several years.
Each of the previous years, we presented a thematic program (sports, cars, Coca-Cola, food, ecology...), for the creation of which STASH's huge collection was a source of constant inspiration. The most common object of our attention was animated commercials, but this time we were drawn to animated music videos.
The visual narrative, created as a kind of "illustration" of music, is very interesting in itself, especially when it comes to an animated music video. Night Thing, The Beatles, The Meeps, Woodkid, Paul Kalkbrenner, Chien Mechant, DJ Piper, Sobaki Tabak, are some of the performers whose tracks entered the animated universe. STASH's Animanima 2024 special is music both to the ears and eyes!
